Boy Scouts of America Troop 239
We are a seasoned Troop, sponsored by the American Legion Hall!  We meet Monday nights at 7:00pm at the G.R.A.S.P. center on FM 1516 in Converse, TX.  We try to go camping every month (weather and holidays permitting).  Please feel free to visit us and see what Scouts do!
Here in our website you will find the Troop calendar; photo gallery; Scout, Leader and Parent information; website links and other valuable resources.  Some of these areas are password protected in order to safeguard our Scouts' personal information.  If you are a Boy Scout or parent in our Troop, please email the Webmaster to receive your password.

Camping!
Troop 821, like the rest of the World, wants to express our deepest sympathies to the families of the Boy Scouts affected by this tragedy.  We are holding our own Sons closer, while we pray fervently for yours.  We feel it important, however, to impress upon our Boys and their Families, that if it were not for the skills our Sons learn due to Scouting, this tragedy could, horribly, have been much worse.  We are deeply thankful for the Scout Leaders who led those boys and taught them their skills, and also for the ability of the boys themselves to draw upon those skills in their moment of great need.  We thank God that so many were saved in light of what happened, and due to the ability of those well-trained boys.  And we pray for the boys who were lost...
Although they have gone to live with our Lord, they will be forever remembered here on Earth.
